Is it just me or is the lancer rear bumper really fugly?

What can be done to it without changing the stock side skirts and front bumper?

If you have an Evo 7,8 or 9, the JDM Evo IX rear bumper with diffusers is in my opinion an awesome look. Subtle, but sexy and functional, plus it's an OEM part so it stays true to the cars original styling.

Haha bro this is the (de, es, gts) section not the evo 1-9 section.

but to answer the question, there are a few good options out there for new rear bumpers, check out groun dynamics or any body kit website.

Are you talking about the top/bottom of the bumper alone or the whole entire thing? I agree that from a side view it seems to stick out more than it should, if that's what you're trying to say. There are some rear lower diffusers (a la the Ralliart/Evo X) for sale online (https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/mi...-diffuser.html), if you're looking to change that up it shouldn't be too hard.

There's quite a few different options that I've seen. Some are from actual brands and some are just no-name brands. Each one's a little different so I guess it just comes down to personal preference. I personally wouldn't want to add anything to the bumper, but that's just me.

If i had one to mod i would get the Ralliart rear bumper since the rear bumper on the De Es and Gts is ugly not matter what lip it has!

I feel exactly the same as the thread starter. I think the rear bumper is "lacking".

Well, I kinda trashed it so I'm looking to replace the Rear bumper with the ralliart one. Exhaust modification is quick at our local shop. Does anyone know the the rear bumper's part number? in apex silver?
