I got an 09 lancer and I was wondering how to take off my spoiler. I thought by taking out the screws, it would just pop out, but there seems to be some sort of sealant in between the trunk and the spoiler. Should i just try to pull it off and eventually the sealant will give in or should i follow another process?

 

use fishing line or a strong string of some sort to "cut" thru the sticky stiff
