Hey guys, never done any modifications to a car whatsoever so clueless here. I want to add a sound system into my 08 Lancer ES instead of the stock one. Basically it just isn't loud enough for me, I just want it louder, I don't need to add any subs or any more speakers, the 2 in the front and the 2 in the back are fine with me. My friend has a 08 EVO with the 650-watt rockford fosgate system and it sounds amazing to me and his gets as loud as mine when the volume is at 25 compared to mine maxing out at 45 and not being loud enough. I was wondering if you experienced people could help me out and educate me on what I will need to do.

I have the navigation system, will I need to take this out to wire up the amp and speakers?

Can I just buy an amp and add it in to give the stock speakers more power or will that risk blowing them out?

If I do have to buy speakers what would you guys suggest as far as wattage goes?

What amp wattage would you recommend with no subs?

Again I don't know anything about cars I've always just used mine to get around, any help is appreciated. Thanks.
