2009 WW Lancer GTS...NEED HELP!

Hey All!
I am new to the forums, and also new to modding cars, I know a bit about cars due to my family being into cars. But I have not done anything to my Lancer yet! I've finally gotten a decent amount of money saved up and I am ready to get working on my car. Here is what I plan to do:

- black out the front end
- side mount the license plate
- HID fogs, and headlights
- Tints
- Rally armor UR mud flaps
- Tein S-Tech Springs
- GReddy SE Cat back Exhaust
- Injen Cold Air Intake

What do you all think about these as first mods? Anything else I should do before any of these? All comments are welcome! I want to know what you think!

Looks good to begin with for looks and a bit of performance. Be sure to post pics of your progress!

I definitely will. What do you think of the brands, and where would you recommend buying the parts online? Also, where should I go from here? Thanks for the comment!

I would start with the bumper black out! Use plasti-dip and do some research on it

and for parts you can check out other forums like 9glancers.com
a part site you could use is autocityimports.com

Your list also looks pretty good

Heres mine!

Thanks Mike!, looks good, did you plasti dip the chrome and everything on the front and is that a lip you have on the bottom?
Thanks again!

Yep just plasti-dip the chrome... search the DIY on the forums for it. And the lip on the front is the stock gts air dams with the center lip extension

just a suggestion, if you black out your front black out your rear badges as well. my buddy did it on his WW Lancer and it looks unreal with the matte black finish. it doesnt have quite the impact on my car seeing as though its octane blue so im gonna do it gloss black. you might wanna look into getting a high-flow cat as well, makes the car sound a bit more aggressive with the high-flow cat and exhaust combo. btw mike your car looks sick! i really like the lip extension

also +1 on plasti dip. you can get it at a home depot or a home hardware. try plasti dipping something before you start on your grille and bumper. its better to get some practice with it so you dont have to redo everything again if you mess up

Here's an update..
Got my windows tinted 35% all around, and did the tails too! Debadged the trunk as you can see as well.
Put in my Injen Cold Air Intake (love it!) and both my low and fog HIDS (SICK!)
I have my Magna flow catback and license plate side mount on their ways too!

Very excited about my lancer transforming!

Questions though,
I think the TEINstechs are going to be too low for my areas weather and such, any other suggestions?
Also, what are some other fairly easy performance mods I can look into?
Thanks!

WORKS springs has 1" drop all around. Eibachs are 1.2" front, 1.1" rear. welcome to the club.

+1 on eibachs. if you go with the sportlines its a bigger drop but not as big as the teins. im having the same dilemma. although my buddy is driving on tein s-techs and says they do pretty well in the winter if you dont have a super low lip. also look into a sprint booster. not necessarily a performance mod but very interesting nonetheless
