Question Lancer ES 08+ compatibility.....

So I drive an 2012 Lancer ES and sometimes parts intended for a 2012 model is hard to find because its so new. Now I understand the 2008-2012 models have not changed but I just want to be sure im getting the right part. I'm about to buy a SRI on amazon and amazon said it does not fit a 2010-2012 but it fits a 2008-2009. Should I be worried? I know the only difference I've seen in the 2012 is the exhaust. Help me out guys, I wanna be sure Im putting down money on the right part lol.

yea here it is, i don't know why it says cold air intake but that is how it looks. http://www.amazon.com/AFE-TR-4201P-Takeda-Cold-Intake/dp/B002FUO59K/ref=au_pf_pfg_s?ie=UTF8&Make=Mitsubishi|72&Model=L ancer|307&Year=2008|2008&carId=002&n=15684181&newC ar=1&s=automotive&vehicleType=automotive

Thats a damn good price for that intake, and it is somewhat a cold air/SRI hybrid as it does get some air from the engine bay regardless of the way the heat shield is configured. However it still gets the normal air that the stock intake setup utilizes. That odd snorkel thing that runs from the filter box to the front of the car. The Takeda intake seems like a good one and I have heard good things about it. As long as it's the 2.0 engine it should not be a problem and that intake should work. I would personally check Takeda's website and confirm parts/fitment. If you are still unsure about the takeda one check out the K&N one, Evo_Soul has said it's the one to buy for the lancers. If you dont know who he is, check out http://www.evosoul.com. There is a link to his blog on the bottom right.
