So if you had 35K would you...

Go ahead and get a Evo X and call it a day, or get a used 09-11 Ralliart and a 02-07 WRX and have the best middle class of both words?

I would either get a clean 8/9 or a new 10. It's always better to buy a new Evo anyway, so I would get a X.

If I had 35k, I would buy that AMS 800hp engine build they have since I already have the car. With the left over money I would go to Thailand for a few weeks and have many "girlfriends" per day.
