Hey guys,
I have read somewhere that the trannies for the SST are made by Getrag. I found some info you guys might be interested in:

Good info. Based on the two available dual clutch transmissions listed, max torque appears to be 450Nm (332 FtLb) or 470Nm (347 FtLb).

Guess what else Getrag makes? the Mk4 supra trannies. they also make 3000GT VR4 trannies....those are also rated at ~350tq, and guess how much power they hold? A LOT!
I think the SST tranny will be tougher than we think....

I really hope so, seeing how the MR is the only thing that makes the X worthwhile getting over the IX IMO.

If you google some technical videos the technician states that, at least initially, the entire unit must be replaced as a whole.
On to more bad news:
I had a Stealth and the transmission was a weak spot on the car. It was able to easily handle the stock power but didn't handle extra power very well...
