do the clutches in the sst need to be changed?

I know they are wet clutches..but in terms of maintenance.. what is required for the sst gear box? do the clutches need to be changed is they wear like a normal dry clutch?

the OM should state when it should be changed or not.

from what people have said, the unit is sealed, any problems and the whole thing needs to be replaced

I bought mine used from Japan... so the OM is in Japanese.. any of the SST guys can help here? I am not having issues just want to know... thanks

what about the oil on this tranny does it need service or is it a lifetime oil in it?

It appears some work has been started on this issue but we're looking at some time before anything comes of it . If something happens to the unit now it has to be replaced completely
