But what would be circulating transmission fluid through the cooler with the fan on? You'd only be cooling the small volume of fluid in the cooler itself, no?

 

Well the SSP cooler brings its own pump (that white thing in my pic); so I figure if you wired it to cool with the car off you could make it run that aswell. I personally don't think its that necessary, I have mine set up so the fan works with the car on or off.

 

i running with the ams trans cooler it works amazing also im running with a fp red on a stock tranny but its de tuned by a lot to save the stock tranny.
