Hey im wondering if anyone has done the South Side Performance Upgraded Clutch Pack because im running on a all stock tranny with a fp red at 29psi. im trying to find something where i put more power into the car. i was planning to put on the cams but not until i can find something that can hold more power. also waiting for the tcu to be unlocked. Is there anyone that is in the same position as me?

 

As far as I know, South Side Performance is the only company offering upgraded clutch packs. They did all of the R&D themselves. The company has a solid reputation, and they are the same people who built the clutch packs that went into the 1,000 hp Nissan GT-R.

If you decide to upgrade it is highly recommended that you get the cooler, and fluids, also the seal upgrade. All of that can be a bit expensive:

500hp Clutch packs: $1,399.00
Transmission coller package w/Pan: $1,579.00
Upgraded DCT Seals: $549.99
Pro Red Transmission Fluid: $75.00 X 8= $600.00

Grand Total: $4,127.99

Plus maybe $1,000-$2,000 in labor. I would say budget for around 6K to do it right.
