The new instructions for oil change.

According to the new instruction that Ukrainian dealers received from Mitsubishi, the capacity of transmission oil should be 5.5 liters.
I changed my trans. oil to Custrol transmax dual *last week, and ecu software for my SST and now it works perfect. My transmission works like new.
Dealer can provide teaching of transmission clutch packages in new software for tc-sst trans.*

That should help to reduce some cost in changing the SST fluid.

This sounds very fishy to me, I have put 8 litres in and than removed the leveling screw while the car was running and gearbox up to temp... I believe I have around 7.5 L in there now =)

I have also used Castrol Transmax Dual and have no issues whatsoever

also isn't it an issue of replacing what you removed ... and people have measured what drains out and it is on the order of 7.5-8L? Including the oil cooler ...
