I just installed my Cobb accessport v3 and flashed the stage 1+ along with an sms intake and speed circuit uicp. The car is a 2013 Mr with about 6k miles on the odo. The sst periodically shifts from 2nd to 4th. This has never happened before. Is this an accesport problem, a sst problem or something different. No codes or warnings show up or anything. What's going on.
I also have the cobb AP v3 with stage 1.
This happened to me once only. I wasnt able to replicate the issue and frankly it scared me cause of how much I had spent on this car lol. My car would go from 1st, straight to 3rd, then to 5th. I was very confused so I pulled over immediately. I turned my car off, let it sit for a minute, then turned it back on. This seemed to fix the issue and the problem has never happened since.
Im almost certain it is the clutches. I do believe 1 clutch handles 2,4,6 and one handles 1,3,5. So if it is skipping the odd numbers. That clutch could be the problem.
Maybe this helps, maybe not. Hopefully you fix your car man!!

Are you slowing down and the sst automatically down shifts for you? I believe if the SST is downshifting for you once you start to go it will automatically upshift for you even though you are in manual mode. There's a thread about that issue, maybe check it out. I've noticed even if I'm in manual mode coming to a stop and I let the computer downshift it will auto up shift to the gear I was in prior to slowing down.

My car if I was in say 5th n rolled up to a light and it flipped green before I stopped the car we auto down shift down to 2nd. Then I would manually start the up shift process again.
Now as soon as I release the brake and touch the accelerator it will jump up 2 or 3 shifts immediately back to back. The only time it doesn't do this is if I come a complete stop. It never did this until I went to the v403 update. If I uninstall the accessport car shifts fine. I checked with Cobb and they told me it's not a fault with the accessport or software. I'm stumped.
I am also curious if you were able to fix this issue.
The same thing is happening to me. I tried with the Stage 2 maps from the website and I have even had the car professionally tuned. I'm still getting the issue. Car drives fine once I uninstall the accessport. Not sure how this isn't an accessport related issue.

I do not know if this will work, but if it is tuning related as opposed to firmware related then it should.
Download a copy of access tuner race. Open the map for your car. Open another copy of atr and open an "installed stock" map from an earlier release. Paste in all of the OEM values related to the transmission. Some of the Cobb transmission tables are named oddly and located in table trees that are not self evident, so you will have to look for them.
See if the issue is resolved. If it is, and your car is heavily modified, have your car professionally tuned, or at the very least the SST portion of it. If you have already had your car tuned, have your tuner do this. A lot of tuners just run whatever Cobb puts in the shelf map for the transmissions. It could be firmware related however, and if it is, your out of luck.

My car is doing this on an open source tune. I think striderlis may be right. Is it in the owner manual?
