TCU Tuning?

Hi everyone! The last time I was really on here and interested in an Evolution X was around 2010. I am now actually able to afford an X and I was really looking into the MR trim level. I searched a little, but I haven't really found a direct, to the point answer to my question. Have there been any "breakthroughs" or anything since then by anyone regarding the tuning of the SST in order to correspond with the increased horsepower and torque that mods will provide? Thanks in advance!

I've not found much on tuning the TCU directly either. I'm not sure how useful it would be anyway. Tuners can adjust some SST tables through the ECU that can help keep slip under control. 350 lbs of torque seems to be the limit on a stock tranny. There are some high power MR's out there, so there are ways to do it.
