Question Down Switching Modes while driving

Based on Kozmic's note belelow

-Consider using Normal for freeway cruise.
(SST Normal mode, the SST will just leave inactive odd gear train in neutral to save fuel and reduce noise. Even if you go on-off-on-off with the acc pedal, the inactive gear stays in neutral. Compared to cruising in 6th gear (Manual) S-Sport, SST will toggle the inactive gear between neutral and 5th every time you apply-lift the accelerator).

Is it OK to move from S-Sport straight to Normal once i jump on the freeway? I know that you need to completely stop to move from Sport to S-Sport.

Yes it’s fine

What would be great is if that “feature” of having to come to a full stop could be overridden, or cruise control able to work in all three modes.

Yeah that's no problem at all. Pretty much the only way to get cruise control on the highway is to switch down to normal. Personally I wish the thing would just remember the mode it was left in when you shut the car off. Its annoying having to switch it up to Sport or S-Sport every time I start the car.

I can kinda see why going into S-Sport in "auto" mode wouldn't be ideal, but while in manual mode we should absolutely be able to switch into S-Sport.. Mitsubishi why you make me cry...
