I have a 1993 mirage ls with a 1.5 motor and manual trans it is my daily driver.Ithink the ecm is going out it idles way low like it is going to die after a little feathering of the throttle it will run descent except it acts like it is getting to much fuel and like it is topped out at about 70. I changed the fuel pressure regulator and the idle air control with know change researched some more symptoms fit with ecm failure .pulled ecm to get part #,Part # is md 175508 that part # is to a 1993 galant fed I have found a ecm #md 175507 which is a galant california what is the difference in the 2 and can I put it in my mirage ,possible problems? sorry so long winded thanks for any help

could be a bad catalytic converter.

 

Have you tried cleaning/replacing the throttle body, fuel filter, 02 sensor?
