Broke? even if you have 10k in the bank you still can't afford it. They sell it over MSRP.

GT-R is nice, but come on, this is the first year NISSAN bring the GT-R to US, that's why people are crazy about it. If NISSAN brings in the GT-R 15 years ago, people won't be so crazy about it today.

When I was in Japan, GT-R in Japan is like Corvette in America, sports car that symbolized the nation, you can see it everyday, people drive it to work just like their grocery shopping car.

Not for a while. The economy is also dictating right now the customer's pockets.

I love the GTR but after hearing all the problems that are emerging w/it now and how Nissan's dealing w/it.... makes me think twice.

What's your take Russell?
The GTR does not have tranny problems... like people make it out to be. There has only been 3 that I have read about in the GTR forums. The reason is that these people that are using LC are using it way to much, one guy launched his GTR more the 20 times and he only has had the car for about 3 months. Using LC is like poping the clutch on a maunel tranny. How would your tranny be if you did that several times? It's one thing to do it once in a while but it's another thing when it's abused.
