Hello. I don't know if you can answer this but I have a quick inquiry regarding the Front Extentions (MZ575780EX) and Side Sill Kit (MZ569735EX) your offering for the 08/09 Lancer. Since the Apex Silver 2009 Lancer I have recently bought did not come with the front and side extentions, I'm looking to purchase them from your website (since they are OEM and prepainted ).

First though, I just wanted to know how they were attached. I'm going to guess that at least the side sills are bolted on, which if thats the case, I need to know if any kind of drilling is involved, ect. The front extentions seem to be just paste on but then again I'm probably only half right. If anyone knows please reply, you'd be a great help. Thanks a bunch.

(If its a simple DIY job, I'll post some pictures up as I install them.)

You should have side sills on the car now. They are not the same as the 'add' on side sills, but they are there. You remove those, then install these into the same mounting locations. There will be no drill involved.

All you need for the install is a Phillips Head, 10mm Socket & Wrench, and a Torque Wrench. Simple

 

I dont think the car has them stock like the 08 Es because it doesnt look like it at all , my 02 es didnt have them at all either so i had to drill them .

 

you have to drill them..
I just put mine on today that I bought from Russell...
its not hard at all...its just time consuming
