Nav seems t be HUGE on the U.S. Lancers.

I have seen very few Canadian Lancers with Nav pkg.
Altho I think the pkg that contains Nav in the U.S. is also different (whats in it).
For us, Nav is totally seperate from anything else...its just an accessory.
In the U.S., I think Nav is part of a pkg (like S&S)?

 

I got it and installed flawlessly. The map version is 2007-A. It updates the firmware version and Gracenote CDDB too.

 

What is the new firmware number?

I take delivery of my 2008 MR today, how can I figure out if this update has already been applied?

 

I don't remember the exact way to find out, you'll just have to punch around through the menus...but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that since it just came out two weeks ago, your new MR isn't going to have it.

I'd make sure to tell my salesman you want that update for free.

 

is it all pretty much the same except for the updated maps? can't wait to get mine

 

I got the dealer to comp the upgrade if it doesn't come with it.
