looking or information on where to find control arm / ball joint for front right.. was told it's one piece ? instead of being able to just replace the ball joint ?

so now I'm being told while they were trying to replace my control arm that a bolt going in to the body has busted loose and I'll have to cut a hole a body panel to access the nut to remove the control arm ? anybody know if this is true or not, if so what would be the best procedure to get this done ? I need to get this fixed ASAP so please hit me with some knowledge.......... THANKS ! !
