Evolution VIII to IX Front End Conversion

Ive been asked to post this list for everyone to have access to. If you are going to attempt to convert your Evolution VIII to a IX Front end this is a complete list of the parts that you need to do it right. Everyone of the parts in this list is different from the VIII to IX so in order for the fitment to be exact with no issue's you will want to invest a few extra dollars and get all the correct components.

EVO VIII to IX Front Conversion

F Fascia 6400B002WA 1
SE Lip (see note) 6512A149WA 1
SE Lip Lwr Insert 6400B288 1
SE Lip Side Bracket 6512A152 1
SE Lip Side Bracket 6512A151 1
Standard Lip (see note) 6512A046WA 1
Standard Lip Insert 6400A394WA 1
Large Lower Grille (in front of intercooler) 6400A384 1
Large Upper Grille 6402A033 1
Center Grille (thin grille in center) 6400A387 1
Side Grilles (in front intercooler pipes) 6402A032 2
Side Air Inlet Grille - RIGHT 6402A024 1
Air Duct (for above) 6400A390 1
Side Air Inlet Grille - LEFT 6402A023 1

Undertray Clips ("scrivets") MB547806 as needed
Cover to Fender Grommet MR393386 2
Cover to Fender Cap MB814163 2


NOTES
A - Either Lip will work with this bumper. The SE Lip requires the side
brackets and the lower insert for it to mount to the bumper and the
undertray. When replacing the lip please order '18' of 6407A017
"lwr rivets".
B - The License Plate Parts are optional for the customer, but they are
specific to the IX Bumper (they will not work on an VIII Bumper.

The "clips" that hold the brackets/reinforcements to the lip are just rivets. The rest should be the same as the undertray. Which are below. I do not have a photo of the rivets right now.

Or find one in the junk yard and hope its in good condition, that would be cheaper!

If you want you can enter the numbers on our site and it will give you prices. I dont want to list all the prices out here and the prices change in a week. Not typically, but it does happen. The price of the IX Bumper dropped about $100 a few weeks ago.

I had a fender bender and the front bumper got damaged some. The guy at the body shop decided he was going to throw it away. So i have NOTHING from the front bumper AT ALL. Is there anything i would need to add to this list to build a completely new Evo IX bumper with all the SE stuff? Thanks, Trever

It should be most of it, but I would hate to tell you yes and it not be. I cant see what kind of damage is on the car so I cant commit to that. You would want to get an estimate wrote up by a body shop to make sure you purchased all the necessary parts.
