Brake part number confusion...need some help
Brake part number confusion...need some help
I lost one of the rear brake pins and anti-rattle/spring clips after a track day Friday.
I went down to the local Mits dealer and got a rear clip set for my Evo 9.
The part number on the package is:
4605A582
Inside it references Brembo part # 98.8248.40
It has 4 pins and 2 clips, but the pins are about 5mm longer than the current rear pins, they also have a groove in them to be held by the spring and the spring is a different design (more articulation to hold the pin), however, they don't seat deep enough for me to fully engage the compression ring.
I have since found that the rear clip set part number is: MR475936
Is the clip set that I have for a different Brembo? Is it for the Evo X? Something else?
Thanks for any info!!
