Wing trunk to Wingless Trunk conversion

What other parts do u need besides the wingless trunk so that when u install the wingless trunk it doesnt go flying open cuz it doesnt have the weight of the wing on it?

i took out those bars that hold the wing open, but once you do that you have to hold up the trunk or else it'll fall on ya lol other than that you should be good to roll homie...

Either swap torsion bars for a model that doesn't have a wing, or just remove 1 of the 2 torsion bars.

I removed one of my torsion bars. You still have to hold the trunk open. I would leave them in if I had to do it over. It's not like the trunk is carbon fiber. It's not gonna fly open on you. I've got buddies who have done the samething. I think someone makes something similar to hood dampers for the trunk as well. That's another option.

You should just get the torsion bars for the RS Model. They are made for the wingless trunk and it will open and close properly. Much better than rigging it up to operate half right.
