It is a very bad thing if the journal bearing turbo in question cost 1900 dollars. I have a hard time trying to justify paying close to 2000 dollars for an itty bitty little journal bearing turbo like the red.

You can buy an 91mm ball bearing full race unit that supports 1600 hp for that much money.

In my opinion, just because its a bolt-on turbo doesn't justify the outrageous price for it. If you think its worth that much money thats cool go get one many people have. I am just stating my opinion every has one of their own. I just think that its awesome that MAP is going to offer the community a different route. Competition "almost always" breeds better lower cost performance parts.

Its not just the fact that its a bolt on turbo. Its a cheaper alternative to a full turbo kit. If there was a turbo kit for 2k Im sure people would buy that instead

Haha I'm glad you are happy with our latest endeavor sir, unfortunately I can't say the same about Robert @ FP I think he took this as a personal attack against his company (which it was not intended to be) and as such he is no longer willing to sell us his products. It's his loss I guess as we will just have to find or develop new products for situations in which we would have previously recommended an FP product...

What are u serious? That's pretty ridiculous...I guess it doesn't matter really since you will be producing your own stock appearing turbos and don't need to sell theirs anymore...

If anyone else is curious as to why I have a grudge against FP. Read the quote above. They are losing their monopoly and they know ROFL.
