Following the success of our original Evo X Oil Pan, we went back to the drawing board to implement the feedback we received. At the time we had no idea where this journey would take us. We knew our customers needed an oil pan that would handle the stress of higher horsepower and track days, which meant it needed to have an increased oil capacity over the stock pan. Not only this, but it needed to make better use of that oil, so a baffle system that withstood high g-force turns was a must. Of course, no aftermarket pan is complete without a 1/8th NPT port to monitor oil temperature, so we added one as well.
With this list in hand we set out to design the best pan on the market, we landed on cast aluminum to reduce oil temps over a steel pan and eliminate any bending or warping during removal. We'd be lying to say we didn't experience an engine failure during this time, which led us to incorporate removability to the baffle system for easy cleaning and reuse. After many, many months of engineering and testing, we are excited to bring you the part you've been waiting for, our MAPerformance Evo X Cast Oil Pan.
