David Richards chairman of International Sportsworld Communicators, the company that owns the commercial rights to the WRC, had this to say after being asked about the possibility of U.S./Canada. hosting a WRC event:

"America, hopefully soon. We would love to have an event in the USA or Canada, and look forward to a suitable candidate putting its name forward."

Let's keep our fingers crossed.

 

Hopefully we'll see that happen with the success of the EVO and STi, and the possibility of a "superFocus" coming out. Maybe this will lead to better sport compacts coming to America... hmmm. Be nice to see something other than SCCA ProRally.
