evo oil system
In case you have not been following the oil pan thread, the question has been raised as to how effective the oiling system is on the evo.
Since I have seen almost no negitive comments about the evo's oiling I have to think it is up to the task. In fact I asked one of the well know evo racers about this question and his answer was there were no problems with oil starvation.
Then again at least one driver has had an engine go T U due to oil starvation according to his mechanic.
Has anyone with an oil pressure gauge noticed low pressure while tracking their car?
Now if the system does work well, how does it do it? Has anyone looked at the pan, how is it designed?
thanks

Mine has been fine, I don't loose any pressure on the track at all, even in turns, etc. I usually run 110+ on the track, in fact, I had to remove a 'lesser' sending unit, because it was blowing by the seals on the unit. What is really strange, I put about half too much one time, and it just blew it out the top, down to full. I doubt anyone here beats theres as bad as I, I sometimes get confused between the Evo and my race car. Helllllooooo fuel cut.
