how much gas for autox

just curious, how much gas to show up with(in the tank) for autoxing.

It depends on how long your runs are and how many you get. Over here we get 3-4 runs around 40-55 seconds each, so I run just a bit over a 1/8th tank (a 1/4th tank if i have a second driver, 6-8 runs). Theres still about 2 gallons in the tank when it hits the "E"

cool, it'll be my first time and i wanna make sure i do everything right. how bout any tips??? ex: tire psi?? stock advans

I think I was running 38 front and 34 rear on the advans, thats on asphalt, if your on concrete, add like 2psi. You'll have to adjust the pressure back down after the first couple runs, it'll raise a couple psi. So buy a good tire press gauge, one that will read in 1 psi increments. Ive noticed that 1-2 psi makes a difference in handling. If it oversteers lower the rear tire press 1 or 2 psi, if it still does it raise the front 1-2 psi, if it understeers, lower the front press 1-2 psi, and if it still does it raise the rear 1-2 psi.
