Just thought I'd let you all know . . . T.E.A.M. Racing is having its next event at Thunderhill this February 14th! The $190 per driver includes catered lunches, snacks, a supply of Gatorade and bottled water, instruction (mainly for the novice group), and at least two hours of track time (divided among six 20-minute sessions). The date is fast approaching, so don't let it slip under your wheels! Just wondering if any Evo folks were planning on coming to this event. Price goes up to $200 this Friday. I do hope some of you can make it -- I've yet to see an Evo on the racetrack!

Being from SoCal, I can't justify the nearly 1000 mile round trip from Redondo Beach to Willows for one day on the track at Thunderhill. It's a fantastic track and I look forward to going back to run T-hill, but I need a 2-day event to make it worth the trip.

Sorry about that, Richard. It's really hard to get weekend events -- all the big clubs (NASA, SCCA) get priority on that kinda stuff. Well, maybe I'll see you someday at Willow Springs or Buttonwillow.

WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER THOUSAND FOLKS ON THIS LIST? Don't any of you wanna have a blast at the track? I hope I see at LEAST three or four Mitsubishis at the track on Feb. 14th . . . I wanna see how well those babies handle! Hope to see you there,

if I could *cough, cough* call in sick that day I'd be in. I would really only know last minute if that's something I'd be able to do, responsibly (ie quiet day at work).

***Bring good ol' fashioned cash if you show up at the last minute. Try to call me the night before to let me know that you will be coming up so that I can get a driver's packet ready for you. I can't comp instructors for this event because I am already pulling money out of my own pocket to fund it, but we sure could use the extra help showing the novice drivers around. See you there?
