MR Solo2 classing?

Has any decision been made on classes for the MR? I'm assuming it'll be the same as the other Evos, but I'm looking for an official decision.

It falls under the existing classification for the Evo until proven otherwise. It's still an '03+ Evo 8.

I can't imagine the MR being split out from the other Evos. In Stock class, it should be very close to the non-MR Evos in its potential -- i.e., not a threat to a well-prepped, well-driven C4 Corvette. In Street Prepared class, assuming that the Evo RS and Evo MR are "on the same line", there is no difference in their potential, since you can legally completely convert an MR to an RS (or vice versa). The Evo RS is the best model for Street Prepared currently, and adding the ability to swap in Evo MR parts probably doesn't change much at all -- I can't imagine that autoXers will want the 6-speed MT, and things like the wheels and the shocks/springs are freely replaceable in SP anyway. Given that putting the MR on the same line as the RS doesn't create a new "super Evo", I can't see the SEB/**** going to the trouble of creating a new separate classification for the MR.

And of course, for Street Modified, there are no car lists, but the MR is a production model available in the USA and meets the weight and displacement limits, so it's a no-brainer that the MR is eligible to run SM.
