as my tires approach slick appearance I begin to wonder how far can I take this?
let's assume I don't drive in the rain but beat them on the track.

 

kind of related...

a couple years ago I had a set of v700's that were worn down to the metal wire on the insides.. didnt have time to get a new set of tires. I talked to my buddy (my racing instructor at that time) and he felt we could push them all weekend... and what do you know... they lasted me both days without incident. I dont condone this, but, it happened.

Needless to say I chucked them after that weekend =)
