Leaking stock shocks

16k miles on the car all and it has all original suspension components. It has probably over a 1000 track miles on it.

Yesterday when swapping my street wheels back on I noticed the area around the front shock where the piston meets the tube that it looked 'damp'. Hard to tell for sure because of all the road grime in there, which I blame on that damn undercoating crap Mitsu sprays in there. But seeing that in that specific location did get me concerned. Then I switched to the rear wheel and noticed the same thing in almost a splatter effect in the wheel well. It was only like this on the passenger side.

I noticed no strange behaviors on the track. My only theory right now is that it was so hot and humid this weekend that the shocks just sort of puked on themselves a little bit from overheating. I don't even know if this is possible, but it's just a guess.

Anyone else notice this before? BTW, this was noticed right after two back to back 20 minute DE sessions. Basically 40 minutes at Gingerman. Calipers turned burgundy and brown on the passenger side too where the drivers side did not. Maybe Gingerman is just really hard on the passenger side. Dunno???
