I was at Summit Point Raceway this past friday. I had a camera inside my car for the first time. It came out pretty decent, though a wide angle lens would be much better. Here is a film from my last session. Its around 90mb (right click and save as)

Nice. I was running in Group 1A. I as the only Silver Evo running in that group. I don't know who all you other Evo guys ended up in 1B but, I was dying to get out there with you guys. Your heat seemed faster to. I kept getting hung up behind cars. In fact as I ended up lapping the field on my last 2 laps

Where else do you run? Solo II or just road courses? Anyway, nice video I forgot my camera!!!

Thank God it dried out. So much more fun in the dry

I remember seeing your car. It seems that a lot of people left after the 1-2 wet sessions. It was probably the smallest run group I have been in at Summit Point. Also people were pretty good about pointing, so it was quite smooth.

Besides track days, I run solo2 events in DC area.

Yeah, the wet was interesting, though i had fun practicing teh 'wet' line at summit - it was the first time I drove there in the rain.

Yeah I met Troy there - nice guy. First 2 sessions were a bit tricky due to the rain, but he was driving very well towards the end of the day, considering it was his first time at Summit.

Puckadog - there is a NASA weekend event on Sept 24-25 at Summit Point. Its a MachV sponsored event so there should be plenty of evos and subarus there. It's $299 for both days. Considering that regular 1 day HPDE is $220, it a very good deal - you get an extra day for $80!

What mods are you running? You ate an elise and a z06. That's impressive.

 

i'm gonna steal the $ if i have too!!!! let me know how i can register and get my dep. down or whatever. i have sh*tty avon tires, can't afford anything mo better, i'll just pump 'em up.

 

i'm sure the elise guy was not anywhere near the limits of that car! just tiptoeing in his 50k kar. z06, it's all exit speed!
