kingkyle you luck git! lol

yeah get the manifold, turbo housing and down pipe coat (properly)! also look into a bigger intercooler and rad and maybe even water/meth injection to help provent dept/reduce inlet temps. and consider where the air filter is! can you get somemore cold air to it?????

i would also look at coating the piping after the IC! that way it wont get heated in the hot engine bay. and you could look into a thermal barer inlet manifold gasket, but not seen any reall evidence that these work.

thanks Chris.

Thats what I was going to suggest on top of everything else. If you have the IM off consider a phenolic spacer. They are usually pretty cheap and in a world where everything helps, its sure to be worthwhile.

Anyone have any experience/data with removing the hood vent slotted panel? I was told it would help cooling but the panel is slotted already plus the panel itself will radiate heat so I am dubious.

Eh, maybe at slow speeds, where the air wasn't getting pushed back onto the windshield area, but worthwhile if you track often, just wouldn't leave it off on a street car.
