lapping season begins (North)

just got home from two days at PIR. nice weather for lapping, had a nice time.

Because of a ebc issue I now realize how little throttle I am using. (it would cause the boost to flutter at part throttle in high gear)

I figure.... the car has PLENTY of power, I need to adjust the ebc, I need to see if I am faster around the corners in third or fourth.

thanks to the Audi and Alfa clubs for putting on track days.

I was at the Alfa track day today also. I was in the '05 EB GSR #771. I had a friggin' blast! Are you the guy I rode with in the first session?

If you mean the MR with all of the carbon fiber stuff, he wasn't allowed to pass the Alfas. He signed up for their "fast tours" for $50. It was his first time on PIR also. Sounds like he had a good time.

I know the guy in the white RS from the NW forum on this site. He is ZeeFreak. He used to own a Vette. He said he was doing well in intermediate. He thought he was close to the times the Elise was doing.

oh was that ZeeFreak who was parked out by me? with his dad? sounded like he is going to be a serious racer.

Yeah that was Zee Freak parked by you.

The guy that lost his lunch was riding in an STi with a World One kit on it. I talked to a guy that new the owner of the car. He said that STi was hitting almost 130 on the front straight. Imagine that and then braking for the chicane. Good stuff.
