You do not have to have a competition lisence. You would just have to be at the HPDE 4 advanced level much like NASA-TT.

The one catch is that if you are not a business, you must be affiliated with a business to enter the competition due to liability reasons. If you need a business to be paired with, we can arrange it. Also, the deadline to enter the competition is this week. HPDE dealine is another 2 weeks or so.
I am running in an event for one of my partners at the Glen that same weekend that I have already committed too. I was waiting for the confirmation and it came today. I will definately run the event when it comes back to the East Coast in 2 years though for sure
The exact schedule will not be know till registration is closed, however here is the basic scedule:
Saturday
7-9am - registration, tech, tehn drivers meeting
9-12 - HPDE and shootout practice splits into run groups
12-1 - Lunch
1-5 - HPDE and shootout practice splits into run groups
Sunday
7-8 - tech and drivers meeting
8-11 - HPDE and Shootout warmup
11-12 Lunch
12-3 - Competition
3-5 (possibly till 6) - HPDE, awards
Saturday
