I know the feeling. It will be a month before my car is ready and the money is starting to run low. This is my first year running R-Compounds (Kumho's) and I am afraid to see how many sets of tires I am going to go through. I have 25 events scheduled this summer so far! I'm gonna have to work as much overtime as I can on the weekdays so I can play on the weekends!

Just be sure to find out how much shipping is. I have heard it is astronomical. That is why the shop near me only places 2 big orders per year. You might be better off finding a shop near you that stocks it or can order some on their regular order. Good luck,

Me too, I went wth the new Hoosier A6, but I am running 245/40/17, b/c I have no money for bigger wheels, spacers, etc. right now. Ordered coilovers in February. After 2 months of hearing nothing yet, call again in two weeks, I cancelled that order, and went with KW Variant 3s (not my first choice, but I have been reading good things about them). So I am atleast 2 weeks from haivng the car done.

I am worried about tires too. I am easy looking at 24 events, I am going to do my first National Tour in Milwaukee, and I would like to go to Nationals (will get my butt kicked, but will have fun), so I am guessing I will need at least 3 sets of Hoosiers ant $900 a set.

Hello,

MS109 pricing :
30 gallon $246.30
54 gallon $416.34

MS103 pricing :
30 gallon $243.90
54 gallon $404.46

The MS109 will make alot more power. It has about 3x the oxygen that MS103 does. For shipping it would go out RL Carriers and needs to goto a business address. We send it freight collect (menaing you pay the driver) so that you get our freight discount. To ship one of any of those drums you are looking at about $110. These prices also do NOT include taxes. Call us and we can get it on its way! We can have it to you next day as long as we have the order by 1:00.

Thank you,

For those wondering. Kumho V710's, On a properly setup car. Camber, air pressures, and not over driven. Should on averge net around 100 runs. They will heat cycle out well before they cord. Unlike Hoosier's past models that corded their shoulders while the rest of the tire had plenty of meat on them.

The kumho's are best for probably the first 30-40 runs depending. And will drop off from there. On my camber challenged Subaru, I was able to net 84 runs before cords.

The new hoosier should hopefully be better than the last. But they are notorious for cording in well under 30-40 runs. There are exceptions of course.

For 25 events, expect obviously getting a 2nd set near the end of the season.

YMMV
