SRT-4 Tailgaters on freeway onramps?

I just don't understand why SRT-4 drivers need to tailgate me getting on the freeway...

I like to leave a little space so I can speed up to merge. Last week, I was getting on freeway and noticed that I was being tailed (his headlights are about 5 feet behind my spoiler). So I just left it in 4th and gunned it to get on the freeway. Anyway, made it to the fast lane for the junction (coming up in about 5 miles or so). I released the gas to slow down and in 5-10 seconds...he's back behind me again! This time, he was about a car's length behind me...@ 92 mph!

I switched to next lane when I got a chance to let him pass...I don't need a speeding ticket

nothing new dude, if you started weaving through cars he would've been really excited. Just speed up and wait for the jerks to catch up then jump over to the next lane right next them and mouth some angry words(I don't even say the cursing aloud, people usually can read lips when you say FU)

If being tailgated by a dodge neon is going to unsettle you then perhaps a less conspicuous car would be better. I get revved on and challenged by everything from slammed Honda Civics, to very well built Mustangs. I roll my eyes and drive as usual.

Ditch the EVO spoiler and hood and replace them with stock Lancer units. That way your car won't stand out so much.

Are you serious?! Have you seen the amount of heat coming out of the vent??

I can understand this happening at below 35 mph...even 45 mph. BUT at 92 mph...come on...common sense... 100+ mph=attepted manslaughter=jail

Strange how slower stock cars always have something to prove...

When I used to have my RX-7 TURBO II, I only get hit on by fast cars (i.e. Cobras). It was fun handing their ***** to them on a plate. It was usually done by 60-75 mph on a CLEAR road/highway and I even let them start a split second before me so they can't say I had a jump on them...some people just need to grow up and think a little about safety...

There is a ton of heat coming off the turbo, but no more than was coming off your RX-7's (had a 93 R1).

Everybody has something to prove on the street. Tell them to meet you at the strip or on a race track where it is safe to play around. plus there aren't any excuses.
