Anyway, they should have been much higher up the grid (had they finished). Both were on one stop strategies (Truli was on the same and came in 5th starting from the pit lane) and the Renaults weren't competitive. Oh well, if only...
Oh, and I just read that Fisi had a new spec engine whereas Fernando had the old spec due to engine change schedules. Fernando will be getting the new spec in France...
^What's the zoom we're talking about here? I'm thinking of going to a GP for the first time (and it will prolly be in US eventhough I live real close to Malaysia) and I'd like to know what sort of lens I should be dragging with me to get some shots. I'd rather not drag along my 400mm if I can help it!
I had to edit all of the posted pics because of the EvoM file size limitations. If you want, I can email you a couple of shots that were taken with 0 zoom. File size is ~2.5MB per picture. Pictures were taken with a Fuji S602Zoom set to 6 megapixels.

I have been every year since I live next to the track. This was the worst race I have ever been to in my life.
I could see probably half of the track from my suite and I saw not ONE single pass all day long. Thank goodness we have two REAL races here to make up for this junk.

^logically, the concept of cars going around an oval should be rather boring than cars going around twisting tracks. The FIA, in all its wisdom has somehow achieved the impossible...
the races you guys get in the States are way more entertaining, but F1 still has its moments, though.
