Thank you for your interest in the Goodsport Racing Evo.

You can find more information about the team at http://www.goodsportracing.com.

Or feel free to ask a question here...I visit the board often.

Cool, thanks for giving me some information. I've been reading about the races on USTCC's site, and just wanted to watch along, and find out some information on the car, and the such.
My roommates nephew is coming to Portland on the 22nd w/ us, and i wanted to be able to answer the basic questions, im sure he'll ask since he's riding w/ me in a white evo..

Hope to see you there, and good luck at the races..

The crew really went above and beyond the call of duty to make this one happen. Tony, Robert Fuller (Robispec), and I left SRM at 6pm on Friday after working on the car all day, and made it to the track by 8am Saturday, ready to race. Pete Kang from Works was with us to tune the ECU for the hot weather, so we were well prepared for the event.

Brown did a great job as usual, working with Robi to guage the effectiveness of some of Fuller's latest experiments. The track was very slick from all the rubber laid down by the American Le Mans Series cars, but as usual the K&N Engineering / Goodsport Racing Mitsubishi Evolution RS came through.

We qualified 2nd on Saturday, happy to get on the front row for Sunday's race next to Curt Simmon's SRT-4 in the pole position. When the green flag dropped on Sunday, Brown got the usual monster launch, and got through the first turn with room to spare. Simmons and Dale Sievright traded second and third, with Dale eventually leading in his brand new BMW E46 Motorsports chassis. Across the line, Brown took first with Dale closing in for 2nd in the BMW.

We are looking forward to the next race, as Dale's BMW only has a total of three sessions on it, so I expect he will step it up and give us a run for the money.

Thanks again to K&N Engineering, Works, Robispec, Dave Brown, Jeffrey, Tony, and USTCC.
