Colin had a perfect run going. Everything looked great even at the parking lot sections. Too bad he rolled the car in the stadium section.
But it was great to see Colin enjoying Rallying again with Nicky.

 

so where were the evo's? i thought there was a couple of them?

Tanner got to hang out with him all week, he got to ride with him in the Rally car and Colin rode with Tanner in Tanner's drift car (then drove Samuel's Viper around Irwindale, first try linking everything!). BTW tanner beat Colin on two stages and Colin told him "you must have been driving the car 100% to do that" (Tanner is still buzzing about that one). Tanner said Colin's driving was awesome (we knew that though didn't we!) using every inch of the road and carrying huge speed through everything, Colin was also impressed with the Drift car at Irwindale talking about the speed drifting around the banking.

Tanner didn't finish well in the rally because of a flat they had to change on the stage that dropped him from third to tenth. He did do the third quickest time in the final stadium stage and he incidentally told me Colin rolled because he outside tire de-beaded on the landing. Tanner would have have a Bronze medal if not for the flat

Yeah, inside jokes suck when you aren't privy to getting them. Hey Tanner! I met you at the Cal Speedway Time Attack. I handed you my cell phone with Paulie G on the other end while you were sitting inside the 996t.

 

I think funny Dustin was considering me your mother, I should remind him that my kids are cuter

 

Tanner: "Hey, I need to get off the phone, I have a friend in the car, and she is looking at me pretty angry."

Me In later conversation to paul: "Tanner was no help...something about a girl in the car."

Paul: "Girl...bah...it was his mother."
