The guy in this video is on track with a bunch of cars that are obviously MUCH slower than his. And even though he turns a fast lap, and you can tell he's really pushing the car, it's still easy to find things to criticize: He's not smooth. His line isn't consistent. He saws the wheel too much. He's drifting in spots where he shouldn't. He rests his hand on the shifter too much.

My point is that watching video from an in-car camera, anybody can find things to criticize. The Formula One announcers even criticize Schumacher sometimes. It doesn't mean that the driver is bad, or that the criticizer thinks they themselves could drive better. Roger Ebert earns big money criticizing movies, but I don't think he's ever MADE a good film.

Posting a video of your own track driving is not an act of "nut swinging". It's sharing the joy, and it takes guts to open yourself up to criticism like that. I love watching other people's track videos and hope people continue to post them. Just be ready to ignore the nasty critics!

fast cars arent smooth.
lines are inconsistent when dodging slow cars
sawing on the wheel means the car is handling poorly not the driver
drifting is fun
feel lucky.. my hand is usually on the radio.

i havent watched the video.. but if its the car i think it is.. be very glad you edited your post about shifting too much.
