Auto-x drivers, please read, help us keep a venue
Hi. Just passing the words. I got this from Sung (plokivos) from AIM tonight.
He got a email from ATLSCCA and he wanted me to pass this word along, since he's IP is blocked by this forum.

Guys, please sign these petitions. The gwinett Faireground not only supports the Atlanta SCCA, but it hosts Porsche Auto-x, BMW auto-x and whole lots of events and I personally enjoy attending these events.
I know most of you are not aware of this, but Alabama's SCCA host venue have been taken away in the early part of this year and it has been very difficult for Alabama drivers to take in part of the auto-x, which promotes drivers education as well as keeping racing out of the streets.
If we lose Gwinett Faireground, Alabama Auto-xers as well as slew of auto-xer's from different car clubs will suffer immensely.

As most of you are aware, there has been some complaints to the The
Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners about the events held at the
Gwinnett County Fairgrounds. Though no actions have been taken at this
point, it is my opinion that it is in the best interest of our sport that we
begin collecting data to support our cause as soon as possible. With
this in mind I have created two petitions, one for Gwinnett County
residents and one for non-residents. The residents petition is designed to
show support for our events in the county. The non-residents petition
is to show how much money is brought into Gwinnett county by
non-residents for these events.
The non-resident petition needs to be signed by individuals who have
actually participated in Gwinnett County Fairgrounds Events (including
SCCA National Tours, ProSolos, Divisionals, Points Events, DoubleCross,
Schools, TnTs, BMW Club Events, Porsche Club Events, etc).
The Resident petition may be supported by any resident of Gwinnett
County, Georgia.
