Post Track Day Tech Setup

Hey guys.
There's several threads on how to prepare your car for a trackday, but I couldn't really find anything on what do you AFTER an event. I'd like to get one going in hopes to get an eventual sticky for before/after prep.

Here's a good list for Before: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...44&postcount=1

After?
Now several things would be the same I think, I'll get some started and try to keep this updated with others posts:

1. Check all fluids levels - brake, engine oil, coolant, etc.
2. Change oil?
2. Check for any leaking fluids throughout the car.
3. Check brake pad thickness.
4. Bleed brakes or change brake fluid as needed?
5. Check tire tread depth and rotate tires as needed.
6. Check and tighten all exhaust fittings and
7. Restore and items that were previously removed for normal operation.
8. Clean rotors and rims of excess loose rubber!

I don't bleed my brakes after track days if the pedal feels fine. I bleed my brakes pretty often anyway.

Checking for leaks and fluid levels is always a good thing.

yeah, if you mushed them you might wanna flush/bleed, or if you're not gonna track it for, say the winter, putting normal stuff back in itsn't a bad idea.

Clean wheels/tires, get the brake dust off them, wash car, get rubber splatters off.

Check all exhaust connections. I personally have a heat problem, no matter what i do the manifold doesn't wanna stay on the turbo, and the o2 to the turbo. (safety wired the o2 to the turbo, and the manifold to the turbo, and the wire just died on the manifold to turbo. bolts backed out, etc.

Exhaust leaks suck.
