Radiator Proteccion & Engine Cooling

Ok Im having a huge debate:

Water Wetter after 1 track day and a month's driving created a serious sludge in my reservoir tank, and made me think about the same in my engine and radiator.

So Im having some debates here, either run again Water Wetter (2 bottles) + rest of Distilled Water, or Run 75% Inugel (Blue) + Distilled Water or use a suggestion made by a friend regarding the Toyota Coolant which he loves, he does a mix of 50/50 with Distilled Water.

I do at least 10 track days a year, plus its my daily driver, here we dont have a problem with the coolant freezing, but Im just concerned about keeping my engine cool in the heat of PR.

Thanks for your help and advise,

Distilled or deionozed water plus a small amount of lubricant (like Redline Water Wetter) is going to give you the best cooling efficiency. What you give up is corrosion protection and, of course, protection from freezing. Just keep in mind you'll need to change the coolant frequently to minimize corrosion.

If you're worried about sludge in the cooling system, just flush the system a few times to get all the old coolant out.

In regards to the corrosion, what are the singns? Red/rust colored coolant? Is this somthing to do before a track day and then switch back to regular coolant afterwords?

I just changed the Inugel + Water that I had and tried the formula that is working for a lot of circuit drivers in our local track, Toyota coolant full gallon + rest of distilled water, I did notice something weird believe it or not, engine now for some reason started to run quiter at idle, any idea why? I dont mind seems the engine is happy now heheheh.

Anyways when flushed the inugel found traces of brownish sludge out of the rad, and the reservoir tank had some sludge as well, same thing happened with the water wetter and water. Anyways we'll see, this Toyota coolant has some lubrication aditives that supposedly will give the engine a better protection. Anyways I change my fluids every 2 races, what I'll do is check the coolant after the next event just to be sure, but for now I like it. I will drive my car later for like 30 minutes to see if there are any issues or whatever.

if you put the wetter in the reservoir, it'll sludge. put it in the radiator (might have to drain some).

i run 1 gal distilled, half bottle of wetter, and the rest coolant (roughly 70/30).
