tire Data

Any of you guys have any data, lap time differences etc, comparing 245-40-17 hoosiers and 275-40-17 RA-1's? Curious. the tires each cost me the same amount of points for TT.

I'll post here in a couple weeks with back to back single variable testing between 255/40/17 RA1's (nicely worn) and 245/40/17 Hoosier R6s (heat cycled-new) at a track where I run very consistently (lap times within tenths). Same rims as well (SSR Comps 8.5" wide).

I know it isn't the right size, but it should be somewhat informative.

Sorry-no testing today.

The track has a few inches of snow on it

I can still get lap time differences between the two tires in a couple more weeks. Unfortunately, the data won't be as useful as I will not have as consistent lap times, because I will be learning the line at a new track (Mid Ohio with NASA).

Damn global warming is taking too long!! J/K
