Redline Time Attack - June 2nd-3rd, St. Eustache *Car Show*

Just wanted to create a thread for our next event:

We have magazine coverage for this event from:

Modified Magazine
Performance Auto & Sound
Tuner Performance Report
Drift & RWD Sport
Nissan Sport Magazine
C16 AutoStyle Magazine
DSport Magazine

TV Coverage will be provided by:

Meguiars Car Crazy
MotorsTV (out of Europe)

I know of a couple teams coming to this event from the United States, notably AMS with their EVO and FactorX with their new Unlimited Class NSX. There are a few teams coming up from Virginia, Massachusets, Pennsylvania and other eastern states.

If you have any questions for me, just post them here!

if someone with training and experience wanted to compete in the lower street class, would they need a special race license or level achievement?

Competitors do not need to possess any type of license or level of achievement.

There will be no more Redline Time Attack events in SoCal for 2007. Our next Redline Time Attack event in California will be at Laguna Seca the weekend of November 9th-11th.

Just wanted to bring this to the top with an update...

We will have the first ever guaranteed cash payout to the top three finishers overall at this event. $500 1st, $300 2nd, $200 3rd... Those numbers will increase if we reach a certain number of paid entries and if our spectator count is as good as we think it will be. This is in addition to the contingency awards we have available for this event.

With about a week and a half to go, we expect registration to pick up considerably (as it usually does). Our local promotional efforts will be ramped up in the final week of the event with radio ads and TV spots for the event. Barring good weather, we are expecting a VERY good turnout of spectators for this event. It's not unusual for over 4000 spectators to come out to Wednesday night drag races, so the locals helping us out with this event are VERY optimistic about our event! :-)

Regretfully we will not be able to attend as we will be running the Lagemann Williams car #74 at STPR with Cascade. We will see everyone at GT Live with some new surprises.

Hopefully we will see you the week before as well... at our regular Redline Time Attack event at Summit Point Raceway, September 29th-30th.

Any chance that you will be able to make it to our St Louis or Atlanta event? both of those events are going to be pretty big as well.

The next time those top running Japanese teams come over to one of our big Time Attack events, they're going to be surprised. It wont be a walk in the park like it was the last time the Cyber EVO took on top North American competition.

Expect to see some outrageously fast cars at Laguna Seca this year. :-)

what are the cars that have the most potential this year?

yeah, Cyber EVO took the top pretty easy last time, I wonder how HKS CT230R will do, they never bring this car here.

I know that AMS is working on a new car, and JIC/Hankook is working on two new cars.
