I still haven't had a chance to update my blog on this past weekend at Sears Point, but I did finally get a chance to write-up the suspension changes we've made to the car prior to the event. There's a bit of a shameless plug for WORKS in it, but I do my best to explain the reason I chose their parts for the car.

For those who read my earlier post about testing the car, the suspension changes helped considerably. I dropped my average lap time from 1:57's down to 1:55's, with a fastest lap of 1:55.0. I was about 1.5 seconds off of a very well driven Evo VIII with a similar power to weight ratio (3200lbs/288whp vs. 3400lb/300whp), so there is still work to do but we're not that far off.
