Torque Wrench Advise
Craftsman digi torque wrenches are awesome. No problems and no problem with little metering BS. Craftsman actually has a brand new Torque wrench that is even better than the ones I have. They are like $200 for the 1/2'' and $170 for the 3/8''. Check em out on the Sears website.

This one below is the style that I have. Works great and easy to use.

I know I'm going to catch flac for this, but here goes.
If you have a local Harbour Freight tools store, they sell Pittsburgh brand 40-140 ft.lb torque wrenches for $20. I can tell you they are pretty crappy except for one thing. They are gauranteed forever.
For me, they last about one racing season. At some point they all break. I take the broken one back down the road to the store and they give me a brand new one right there on the spot every time. Because there are just $20, I keep two in my garage.

... but then again I use them to torque down wheels, sparkplugs, etc ... no head work.
