2007 SCCA ProSolo Finale (pics)
I didn't take many pics, but here are some of the SM class after the first session. We're in order of placement following session 1. There's one bonus pic at the end, since I wasn't sure what the heck kinda car that was...
All 5 cars (8 drivers)

Daddio in 1st, Sias in 2nd, me in 3rd

Me and Navid/Pippen side-by-side (Navid passed me up and jumped to 2nd pushing me to 4th in the final standings)

Me and Pippen washing up the morning of the final Pro session (3rd)

The Faucett-moblie - badass

Rearview

Thanks to Exedy and Buschur

Mazda?

I finished 4th out of 8, but only the top 3 got trophies and only the top 3 got contingency money. Close, but no cigar! However, ProSolo is the best ever - I don't even want to do regular auto-x anymore, hah.
I also have 3 vids of the Ridgick/Hayter showdown in the Pro. I'll post YouTube links as soon as they're uploaded and processed...

These are so-so pics I took with my camcorder. When my CD arrives with the digital pics from the pro photographer (same one who did my SportsCar cover), then I'll post those in high res.

Yeah, the green Bimmer is a father/son tandem in my local region, so we go at it every event. They just started last year, and we both had our first event on the same event. At the time, they had a nearly-stock N/A 328i, but by now, it basically has the full Tunnell setup with 315s front and 335s rear and a supercharger putting out 370whp or so.
I used to kill them, but as the car got more developed, and they learned to drive it, they started creeping closer and closer. The father is still a bit behind, but the son is really starting to get the hang of it. he cones a lot due to the huge rear track width, but his raw times are getting very close to me. He actually put down a faster raw time than I on the 2nd day of the Solo Finale for the first time ever as far as I can remember. He'll be quite a handful next year, but I do think they're just about done with the major development items. I don't have much to change other than a 20g-LT, mini batter + IC piping, and a lower ride height to help with droop.

Paul, I sent you a long note via PM when preparing for Nats, but I am not sure if you got it. Send me your email addy so that I can get in touch with you for tweaking the setup a bit. I still have the car setup mainly for road racing, but since I can't do that competitively right now, I need to set it up strictly for autox.
Thanks!
Thanks!
