The point is that it's not the case for the STIs and the whinners are making their case on AWD in general not fitting the class and dominating.
I think the M3/C4 drivers see Evos doing well, and pick out AWD as the reason (understandable, it's the biggest significant difference IMO). The STi just comes along for the ride in this case based on similarity. I can't see why STi's in general aren't doing any better in that class, except that so few seem to be campaigned, and maybe we just haven't seen the great car prep/great driver combination there yet.

That would IMO say out loud that BSP is Scca's official class for old corvettes and BMW, others could come and play but are forbiden competitiveness; any fair tire limitation for AWD should be 285s .

Upset the status quo and you will always get pushback. Technology, cars and drivers ( yes drivers ) evolve ( no pun intended ) and the status quo is changed. Those who aren't ahead of the curve stay behind and *****.

We had the same fight with the mustangs and camaros in ESP when DSM's came out. "Overdogs" they shouted and the AWD turbo cars were neutered because of it. What happened? DSM'ers stayed away and the biggest complainers moved to FS or BSP or SM, etc.
